TRW is building on its innovative driver assist product portfolio by adding a traffic jam assistant Stop & Go functionality to its Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) system. Using the ACC long-range radar, Traffic Jam Assistant allows the ACC vehicle to follow a target to stop and, upon driver command, follow that target in traffic jam situations. Stop & Go uses additional short-range radars to cover a wider field in front of the ACC vehicle.  ACC Stop & Go permits the ACC vehicle to automatically follow its target in a traffic jam situation
